Description

Today, a defined policy declares given restrictions, i.e. scales, bbox,etc... for a list of user/role.

If the administrator manages many different configurations in which he defined the geographic restriction, he has to redefine the geographic restriction for each new policy. But often, for a given user, the geographic restriction is the same (ex.: for a commune).

A nice functionnality to add would be to be able to define a "default geographic restriction" for each user and then give the possibility to assign this default restriction to given policies.

To discuss... may be not so clear...

It appears that this evolution is not straighforward with current architecture. To fullfil the demand, policies and rights should be stored in a relational database. It implies major changes in the actual PROXY.

We will propose things in the next months regarding this issue.
