Description

XQuery engine is a current EasySDI feature which allows Administrator to edit and execute metadata mining requests.
This feature was sponsored by Canton of Bern to be able to run XQuery reports over metadata information stored inside CSW server and EasySDI tables.

As far as I know, only Canton of Bern was using such feature.
Few weeks ago, Canton of Bern informs us that they are not using anymore this query engine and has replaced it with FME scripts.
DEPTH totally agree that using such query logical is more painful and less powerful than using dedicated data mining solutions (such as ETL engines or BI engines). So we propose to
give up such feature inside the new EasySDI versions.

May I ask EasySDI Steering Committee to give back his advice and vote about removing such feature ?
+1 = remove XQuery engine from EasySDI v3 / no advice
-1 = keep XQuery engine inside EasySDI v3

Thanks a lot,
Bruno
